Safariland Stukenbrock

Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock

When dusk falls over Safariland Stukenbrock and the entrance gates are closed, it becomes quiet in the wilderness. Only the soft hissing of the cheetahs can be heard somewhere in the distance as you make yourself comfortable on the terrace of your safari lodge or in the safari tent lodge. The animal and amusement park in Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock in East Westphalia offers the opportunity to experience the African feeling not only throughout the day, but also at night. Before you are woken up in the morning by the roar of the lions and can watch the Barbary apes and meerkats as well as flamingos and pelicans having breakfast.

A total of 600 animals live in the area, which is modeled on an African savannah landscape. You can get very close to the lions, tigers, zebras and antelopes on a safari, which you can do in your own car, on a safari bus or accompanied by a ranger. The guided VIP tour also includes feeding the white lions. If you want to roam the wildlife area on foot, you will pass the cheetah enclosure, the Barbary macaque temple, the petting zoo for the youngest guests and the white lion area.

The season at Stukenbrock Safari Park always starts in March. This is also when the numerous rides such as the Apple Carousel, the Flying Elephant and the Crocodile Ride get underway on the grounds. A total of 30 attractions provide fun and thrills for the whole family - from high-flying to fast and furious, to wet and happy. And if the weather isn't quite so good, younger guests can playfully explore Africa, romp and climb to their heart's content, climb tree houses and steer ships. The indoor adventure playground "Katta's World" is spread over two floors and is named after the half-monkeys that originate from Africa and are known for their curly, fluffy tails. Some of them have also found a new home in Safariland in East Westphalia.
