WinterWelt Willich

WinterWelt Willich is one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in NRW and will take place this year from Thursday, 28.11. to Sunday, 08.12.2024 on Kaiserplatz in Willich's old town. The market is open on weekdays from 16:00 - 22:00, on Saturdays from 12:00 - 22:00 and on Sundays from 12:00 - 20:00. Visitors can once again look forward to a detailed world with a stylish lighting concept and handmade decorations. A variety of exhibitors, food and drink await guests in almost 20 real wood huts. The market's own show stage with a daily live program, an outdoor terrace and an XXL Christmas tree create a wintry atmosphere throughout the grounds. Children can skate on a small ice rink during the day. In the evening, the ice rink is transformed into a curling rink which provides plenty of entertainment for both players and spectators. Two large mulled wine huts and stalls selling crêpes, raclette, bratwurst and potato pancakes will provide refreshments. In addition to stew and schnitzel, visitors can look forward to a hut selling fresh almonds, popcorn and confectionery.

This year, WinterWelt Willich is all about animal welfare. The organizer, Willich-based HYPE GUIDE GmbH, is focusing on a joint donation project with Tierschutz Mönchengladbach. Prominent program items are also planned for the show stage. There will also be further fundraising campaigns for local associations and organizations.
