Sleeping in the countrysideUnique nature experiences

Glamping at Naturpott
At Naturpott Borkenberge in the Ruhr region, you are spoilt for choice: either spend the night in a completely natural setting in a grove of tents or in the comfort of one of the glamping tents. But no matter what you decide, you can take a deep breath in the Naturpott and enjoy an uncomplicated camping holiday. You can get some refreshments at the "Feed like your dad did" and the children can let off steam in the Zechturm playground and natural swimming pool.

Wild camping is also legal in the Sauerland. In the Sauerland Rothaargebirge Nature Park for example, the trekking sites are located at vantage points with far-reaching views, on wooded slopes or in the valley. For hikers, the sites in the holiday world are practically on the way, as they are located on the Winterberg high route. Picnic benches, forest sofas and eco-toilets complement the respective wooden platform. Diemelsee Nature Park also offers places with panoramic views, in mystical surroundings or at energising places of the soul in the Sauerland Trekking Park.

Camp Hammer
Not only in the middle of nature, namely in the Eifel National Parkbut also stands for nature. A special highlight: all the outdoor lights on the campsite only shine downwards and not into the atmosphere, and at night all the lights in the camp go out. This preserves the natural night sky and campers can marvel at a breathtaking starry sky at night, sometimes even the Milky Way.
