Tiger and Turtle
Tiger and Turtle

Tiger & Turtle" slag heap artwork

Duisburg

There is a special roller coaster on the Heinrich Hildebrand Höhe in the south of Duisburg: there are no cars, you have to walk on steps over the arches towards the loop. By the way: there is no ticket booth at this roller coaster - a visit to Tiger & Turtle is free. From the top of the sculpture, you have a fantastic view over Duisburg and the Ruhr region. The view is particularly magical at sunset and the work of art is a perfect photo spot. Incidentally, this even applies at night when the sculpture is illuminated. Then 880 LEDs draw the sweeping curves of the steel sculpture into the night sky. It's a good thing that Tiger & Turtle is open day and night with free admission.
