The Haan Pyramid Market enlivens Haan's city center around the fountain at Neuer Markt during Advent. Drinks, food and sweets stalls are open daily until the evening hours. The market is closed on Boxing Sunday and Christmas Eve
There is live music at the weekend. The smallest Christmas market in the Mettmann district is a popular meeting place for the "grown-ups" and doesn't miss out on the "little ones" either, as St. Nicholas is a guest at the pyramid market on St. Nicholas Day and waits for the children. On the 2nd Advent there is Teddy Bear Day. Every child who brings their teddy bear or favorite cuddly toy to the pyramid market receives a carousel ride and a children's waffle as well as a children's punch or a bratwurst as a gift.
