The enchanting Christmas market in the Eifel town of Monschau offers you many highlights. In the middle of the historic old town, you can immerse yourself in a fairytale Christmas world. The romantic half-timbered backdrop and 3 large Christmas trees guarantee pure Christmas anticipation! The Advent concerts of the music societies and the festive chorales of the tower brass band on the market square take place on Saturdays and Sundays at dusk.

Worth seeing: from December 1st, the windows of the Troistorff house light up as an Advent calendar

Over 60,000 LEDs light up all the streets like floating "starry skies" and decorated wooden stalls with attractive offers invite you to go Christmas shopping. From handmade goods to unusual gifts or decorations, there are attractive goods to give as gifts and to buy for yourself, not only in the wooden stalls but also in the many stores and boutiques. And of course you should also try some mulled wine or eggnog, which is served in porcelain and glass cups. For the little ones, a gnome trail leads through the middle of the town and there is a historic carousel at the market. By the way: St. Nicholas comes by every Saturday and hands out small gifts.
