Bad Laaspher Christmas market

On the first weekend in Advent, TKS Bad Laasphe GmbH traditionally organizes the Bad Laasphe Christmas market. This wonderful market for young and old takes place in the picturesque old town.

Once again this year, the exhibitors offer a varied range of products in the attractive sales huts. Christmas decorations, flower arrangements, arts and crafts, accessories, jewelry, chocolate and much more are a foretaste of the Christmas season and an opportunity to buy a Christmas present or two.

As always, a wide range of food and drink awaits visitors. From bratwurst, steaks and stews to waffles from the cast iron, crêpes, home-made cookies and cakes, there is sure to be something for all tastes.

There is also no shortage of mulled wine stands, which of course also serve other delicious alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. A mug of homemade warm honey mulled wine is sure to warm everyone up!

Visitors to the Christmas market can look forward to numerous activities and a musical supporting program.
A very special moment every year is on Saturday evening, when the sounds of trumpets ring through the alleyways and then the beautiful gable lighting in Köngistraße is switched on.

This year, there will be a newly designed Christmas puzzle around the Old Town for young visitors and their families, with the focus on a shared experience. Of course, there will also be craft activities and St. Nicholas and his flock of angels will be stopping by.

Here in Bad Laasphe, young and old can get in the mood for the Advent and Christmas season with Christmas music, candlelight and treats for body and soul.

We try to make our events as sustainable as possible. Years ago, we purchased our own cups for the Bad Laaspher Christmas market to avoid using disposable cups. The lighting has been converted to energy-saving LEDs and visitors who would like to make their contribution to sustainability can travel to the event conveniently by train or bus.
