Every year on the second weekend of Advent, Borgholzhausen's town center smells of gingerbread, freshly roasted almonds, mulled wine and many delicacies from the local cuisine. Anyone looking for Christmas presents for their loved ones can find them at the numerous arts and crafts stalls. Even the youngest visitors can look forward to fun storytelling in a specially set up Christmas tent. The festively decorated town center and an illuminated fir forest on New Haven Square invite guests to linger and socialize. There will be many familiar offerings, but also new highlights - presented by people who feel a special connection to our city.
