Revel in the old days at the jukebox. Really "push" your male colleagues on the Viking ship. Or compete with the HR department in dragon slaying. In a playful competition against a historical backdrop, the focus is not on competing against each other but on working together. The motto at the old manor in Pulheim is: first archery, then barbecue. During the costumed tour through the medieval town of Xanten, theory is followed by practice. And at the knowledge rally at Benkhausen Castle, hardly anyone will want to answer all the questions on their own. Not only does it work better in a team, it's also a lot more fun.
COMPANY OLYMPICS AT THE MANOR HOUSE
The 700-year-old Orr manor in Pulheim near Cologne is surrounded by a stately park where companies can organise their own Olympic Games or simply get creative in the shade of the old trees. Among other things, games of skill and archery courses are offered before the day ends with a barbecue in the park or a stylish meal in the magnificent rooms of the 13th century manor house.

CASTLE ROMANCE IN MÜNSTERLAND
Sportschloss Velen is considered the best address for conferences. The "fairytale castle" dating back to 1240 also offers a stylish setting for company celebrations and team-building programmes. It is surrounded by wild ivy and ancient trees and is located directly on the 100 Castles Route, one of the most beautiful cycle routes through the Münsterland region.

CASTLE RALLY AT THE GERMAN AUTOMATON MUSEUM
Benkhausen Castle in the Minden-Lübbecke district is not just a conference hotel with historical charm - the grounds are also home to the German Vending Machine Museum with changing exhibitions on topics such as "Jukeboxes from five decades" or "German vending machines of the 50s and 60s". A knowledge rally is organised for every colleague.

IN A VIKING SHIP ON THE RUHR
Get ready to set sail! The Viking ship, which regularly sails across the Ruhr between Essen-Kettwig and the Mülheim water station, has room for a crew of 14. The faithful replica, MüWi for short, is twelve metres long and 2.5 metres wide and requires more than just "strong men". If you like, you can also combine the boat trip on the Ruhr with a bike tour or a 3-course Viking meal at the water station.

MEDIEVAL XANTEN
Welcome to the past. On a costumed tour through the medieval town of Xanten, groups learn about the medieval life of the canons and visit their former collegiate church, Xanten Cathedral. The theory is followed by practice. If you like, you can slip into the role of one of the most famous legendary figures of the Middle Ages and compete with your colleagues at the Siegfried Games in ring tussling, dragon slaying and axe throwing.
