With the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum and the RuhrCongress Bochum, Bochumer Veranstaltungs-GmbH operates two extraordinary venues for events. Competent event management and technical teams take care of all types of events, from concerts, congresses, conferences, galas and sporting events to trade fairs and product launches. State-of-the-art technical equipment and the corresponding expertise for live events and hybrid event formats are available in-house.

With hygiene concepts that are constantly adapted to the corona protection measures and a ventilation report, we are a reliable and competent partner for safe events.

The historic Jahrhunderthalle Bochum offers a great visual contrast. The former gas power station of the Bochumer Verein steelworks was converted into a festival hall and extended with a glass foyer. Thanks to its incomparable architecture and atmosphere, the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum is a magnet for award ceremonies such as the 1LiveKrone, political celebrities at national party conferences, festivals, galas, trade fairs, classical, rock, pop and jazz concerts. The Jahrhunderthalle is just as versatile and changeable as the events themselves, with flexibly placeable stages and grandstands in three halls, outbuildings and artists' dressing rooms. As an anchor point of industrial culture, it stands on the one hand for the structural change in the region and on the other hand as a symbol for the future in the west of Bochum.
